Bæjarins Beztu Back Where It Belongs

The Bæjarins Beztu hot dog stand has returned to its original location on the corner of Tryggvagata and Pósthússtræti, mbl.is reports. The beloved Reykjavík institution was moved across the street in front of the Radisson Blu hotel last summer due to construction and while its sales didn’t suffer, it did open an hour later than usual—11 AM instead of 10 AM—while it was in its temporary spot, forcing hungry customers to find their breakfast pylsur elsewhere.

Back across the street where it’s stood since 1937, Bæjarins Beztu has gone back to its original hours: 10 AM – 2:00 AM, Sunday – Thursday, and 10 AM to 4:30 AM, Friday – Saturday.
