Young Icelandic Band on North America Tour

Young and funky Icelandic band Sprengjuhöllin launched its two-week North America tour with a concert in Toronto on Thursday. Canadian bands Major Maker and Paper Moon performed alongside Sprengjuhöllin.

On Friday Sprengjuhöllin played in Winnipeg during the Icelandic-Canadian culture festival Nuna/Now. On Monday, May 12, the band plays its first concert in the US in a concert venue called Chop Suey. US bands Ra Ra Riot and The Little Ones will also perform in Chop Suey on that occasion.

On May 14 Sprengjuhöllin returns to Canada with a series of concerts during the local New Music West festival. The last concert of the tour is scheduled for May 19 in Rehab concert venue in New York. Another Icelandic band, FM Belfast, will also perform in Rehab that night.
