Young Heart Failure Patient off Life Support

Helga Sigrídur was kept unconscious for almost two weeks. Now her return to Iceland is being planned, where she will be admitted to the Landspítali national hospital in Reykjavík, Morgunbladid reports.

“She still has a few operations left,” said her mother, María Egilsdóttir. “It isn’t over. But now that her condition is no longer critical she will be sent home; there are good people there too.” She is satisfied with the care her family received in Sweden.
