Wrong Person Gets Letter from PM

A terms of reference (ToR) letter was sent from the office of the Prime Minister of Iceland to the wrong person last week.

In the letter, the recipient, designer Harpa Grímsdóttir of Garðabær, was appointed to a committee on Science and Technology, ruv.is reports.

However, it was Harpa Grímsdóttir, district director of the Icelandic Met Office’s Avalanches Centre in Ísafjörður in the West Fjords, who should be on the committee.

The issue has now been cleared, to the great relief of the other Harpa Grímsdóttir.
