Airbus 380, the world’s largest passenger jet, flew in low circles above Reykjavík at noon on Friday. Pilots were testing the aircraft’s performance in windy conditions.
According to RÚV, the aircraft landed at the international airport in Keflavík before it flew over the capital.
Airbus has sent its passenger jets to be tested in Icelandic weather conditions on earlier occasions, as the weather in Iceland can prove especially difficult for airplanes.
