What’s On Covers Iceland Airwaves

By Iceland Review

The 2008 October issue of free guide What’s On in Reykjavík has been released and this time the guide is dedicated to the Iceland Airwaves music festival, during which a host of local and foreign bands will play October 15 to 19.

What’s On also covers an Ecuadorian culture festival held in Kópavogur, a neighboring town of Reykjavík, October 4 to 12. The festival is held in cooperation with artists and culture institutes in Ecuador and features Ecuadorian nature, art, films, music and more.

The guide also includes a feature on the National Museum of Iceland, which is popular among native and foreign visitors alike. As usual, What’s On provides coverage on two prominent restaurants in Reykjavík and the main cultural events scheduled for the capital region this month.
