A fish processing plant caught fire in the Westman Islands last Friday, which was probably deliberate as were other recent fires on the islands. A suspect was arrested but has now been released from custody.
The man who was arrested was the last person to leave the fish processing plant on Friday, but he claims to be innocent, 24 Stundir reports.
Local police are still investigating the case with assistance from experts from the technical department of the Capital Region Police, who investigated the crime scene yesterday.
