Again, the Icelandic Met Office has issued a weather warning:
Swelling rivers are expected in South and West Iceland through Thursday. There is an increased risk of landslides in these areas.
A strong gale warning with winds exceeding 20 meters/second is in effect in West Iceland.
Rainfall in the west, south and southeast will be heavy through Thursday. Between 6 pm tonight and 6 am tomorrow, the Met Office predicts 120 mm of rainfall over Mýrdalsjökull glacier in South Iceland.
