Weather Likely to Disrupt Traffic Tomorrow

The Icelandic Met Office has issued a storm warning for most of the country overnight and tomorrow. Considerable or heavy rain is expected in the south and west late tonight and tomorrow morning. South and southeasterly winds of 15-23 m/sec are expected at that time, changing to equally strong southwesterly winds with dropping temperatures and snow showers in the west tomorrow morning. The strong winds will move eastwards across the country later in the morning.

Communications will likely be disrupted, both automobile traffic and domestic flights, the Met Office predicts. Travelers are advised to stay informed about weather and road conditions.
