The oldest and wisest weather club in Iceland is located at the elderly home in Dalvík, North Iceland. The eight senior members meet once a month and prepare a forecast for the following month.

Because of the holiday period, the forecast for January only arrived last week. According to the forecast, the temperature in January will be similar to in December with one rumpa snowstorm during the month. Exactly when in January was not included in the report, weekly Akureyri-based Vikudagur reports.
