Warm Weather Continues Around Iceland

The weather in Iceland has been unusually warm, dry, and sunny in recent weeks.

Yesterday, the temperature rose to 22°C (71.6°F) in Húsafell, according to the Icelandic Meteorological Office.

Temperatures of over 20°C (68°F) were also recorded in Árnes, Hvanneyri, Þingvellir, and Veiðivötn, mbl.is reports.

Similar weather is expected today but rain is forecast in the east on Sunday.
