New Yorkers seem to know a thing or two about Iceland considering this unscientific survey recently conducted by mbl.is.

One asserted that Iceland was bankrupt and that it was a cold and dark place. Others knew that it had volcanoes and that Reagan and Gorbachev met there at a summit at Höfdi.
