Producers of upcoming science-fiction thriller Babylon AD are currently looking into the possibility of shooting parts of the movie in Iceland. The main actors are Vin Diesel and Michelle Yeoh.
According to Morgunbladid, the action movie is set in the future in Russia and China and parts of it need to be shot in snow, which is why Iceland is being considered as a possible location.
The project is organized by movie production company Pegasus. Snorri Thórisson, who works at the company, said if Babylon AD is shot in Iceland, it will be one of the largest movie projects in Iceland to date.
