RÚV cameraman Jóhannes Jónsson took this video on Monday of search and rescue workers trying to collect valuables from the boat Jónína Brynja which ran aground below cliffs northwest of Straumsnes in the western Hornstrandir region in the West Fjords on Sunday evening.

Two fishermen on board the vessel were rescued by Coast Guard helicopter on Sunday.
Jakob Valgeir Flosason, the owner of the fishing company that operates the vessel, described the fishermen as experienced and could not explain what had caused the accident, which is now under investigation by the police in Ísafjörður.
