Value of Icelandic Catch Up by 34%

The value of the Icelandic catch increased by ISK 3.9 billion (USD 60 million, EUR 45 million) over the first two months of the year compared with the same period last year, according to figures from Statistics Iceland.

The total value of the catch was ISK 15.2 billion (USD 240 million, EUR 180 million) for January and February 2007, compared to ISK 11.3 (USD 180 million, EUR 130 million) billion last year. Fréttabladid reports.
