Unusually Bright Northern Lights

A strong magnetic storm from the sun is causing unusually bright northern lights visible in Iceland.

According to meteorologist Óli Thór Árnason, Iceland is on the southern border of the northern lights belt which also reaches North Russia, Siberia and some parts of Alaska and Canada.
