Unplugged Music Festival in Reykjavík Café

Interest group Undercover Music Lovers are organizing an unplugged music festival in the recently-opened Café Rósenberg in Reykjavík this weekend. Eighteen acts from five different countries will perform during the festival.

“It is very important to have an interest group focusing on strengthening the community of musicians, not just business relations but also friendship and cooperation in the music scene,” organizer Svavar Knútur told Fréttabladid.

Performing bands and artists include Toben Stock from Germany, Owls of the Swamp from Australia, Kid Decker from Britain, Svavar Knútur himself, Helgi Valur and Bergthór Smári from Iceland.

Admission to all concerts is free which will be 4 pm – 11 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
