Two Icelandic films, DÍS by Silja Hausdottir, and Screaming Masterpiece by Ari Alexander Ergis Magnusson, are among the 10 candidates for this year’s Nordic Council Film Prize 2005, which will be announced in Copenhagen on October 12.
Two films from each Nordic country, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland, have been selected from each country. The director, scriptwriter and the producer of the winning film will split the DKK 350,000 prize.
