Two Icelandic Books Nominated for Nordic Council Prize

Two Icelandic children’s books are among 14 nominations for the Nordic Council Children and Young People’s Literature Prize 2013.

Two books from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden have also been nominated, along with one title from the Faroe Islands, Greenland and The Åland Islands and the Sami Language Area.

The Icelandic nominations are Skrímslaerjur by Áslaug Jónsdóttir, Kalle Güettler and Rakel Helmsdal, and Ólíver by Birgitta Sif.
