The condition of the other victim is more serious. He suffered a heavy punch to the face late on Saturday night. He was admitted to the ICU and, according to the latest news, his condition is considered to be life threatening, Morgunbladid reports.
The attacker was arrested shortly afterwards and he confessed to the crime last night. It appears that there was no underlying struggle.
The other attacker wasn’t arrested until yesterday after the police received evidence of his whereabouts. He confessed shortly after the arrest.
The Capital Region Police received six reports on assaults on New Year’s Eve, most of which took place in the suburbs, in and around private homes.
