Police have arrested two men suspected of breaking into a home in Garðabær, a town near Reykjavík, around 10 o’clock this morning. The men may be behind a string of dozens of burglaries that have taken place since December of last year in the capital area. RÚV reported first.
The police announced the arrest earlier today, adding that the investigation is in its early stages and it is not possible to provide further information at this time.
The men were arrested thanks to neighbours who saw and reported the activity, and a quick response from police.
