The Trúbatrix all-female group of musicians is organizing a two-day mini festival tonight and tomorrow night at Café Rósenberg as a special Iceland Airwaves off-venue event. The concerts begin at 4 pm on both days and admission is free.
The lineup includes Icelandic singer-songwriters from all age groups and genres; established artists such as Ellen Kristjáns, Elíza and Heida, current it-girls Lay Low and Dísa and shooting stars like Elín Ey and Mysterious Marta.
Many of these musicians will debut new songs.
The Trúbatrix ladies promise a cozy and family-friendly atmosphere. In between acts, belly dancers and other performance artists will entertain festival attendees and waffles will be on offer. The program ends at 10 pm on both days.
