The Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) will hold their annual convention in Reykjavík in September next year.

Around 350 guests are expected to travel to Iceland for the meeting.
The convention is expected to generate ISK 150 million (USD 1.27 million, EUR 973,000) in direct revenue.
Attendants will be shown the most interesting destinations in the country during their stay to publish content for travel and lifestyle magazines, ruv.is reports.
