Davíð is on his way to Iceland where he will reunite with his family, Fréttablaðið reports.

He will, however, have to return to Turkey to face court appear before the court when the verdict is announced.

As reported, Davíð and his fiancée Þóra Birgisdóttir bought a piece of marble at a market. After the stone was found in their luggage during security control they were taken to the airport’s police station. Davíð was arrested but Þóra could leave.
