The Travel and Leisure Time Expo (Ferdalög og frístundir) will be held for the first time from May 8 to 10 in the sports and exposition hall in Laugardalur in Reykjavík, presenting everything related to travel, leisure and recreational activities in Iceland in one place.
The exposition Golf 2009 will take place alongside the larger exposition, which primarily revolves around the so-called Tourism Square where tourist organizations from all over Iceland will present the attractions and services in their respective regions.

Both tourism representatives and the general public are invited to attend the exposition and familiarize themselves with what Iceland has to offer for travelers. Its purpose is to present the diversity that exists in tourism in Iceland and raise awareness of the country’s travel agencies.
The exposition is organized by public relations company AP in cooperation with the Ministry for Industry and Tourism, the Tourism Association of Iceland, the Icelandic Tourist Board, Golf Iceland and Icelandair.
