The woman arrived at the Landspítali national hospital around 4 pm, ruv.is reports.

The helicopter was called out as the woman’s position made it difficult for rescue services to reach her on foot.

This is the second time this summer that the helicopter has been called out to Glymur to assist a tourist with a broken ankle.
