Tourist Arrives in Iceland on Tractor

Reiner Huttasch, an opera lighting technician from Bern, Switzerland, recently arrived in Seyðisfjörður, East Iceland, on the ferry with a 54-year-old Swiss-made Buhler tractor (not pictured).

Huttasch explained in an interview with ruv.is that because tractor is slow it will take him six weeks to travel around the country. He then plans to return to Denmark with the ferry and continue on to England, Scotland, Belgium, Luxembourg and France.

The tractor is towing a small homemade house in which Reiner sleeps during his travels.
