Toto plays in Reykjavík

The US pop/rock band Toto held a concert in Laugardalshöll music hall in Reykjavík yesterday, playing old hits like “Africa” and “Rosanna” for spectators. According to concertgoers, the atmosphere in Laugardalshöll was great.

Most members of Toto have decades of experience from the music business and are known for good performances. Yesterday they played a mixture of pop and progressive rock with a touch of jazz, Morgunbladid reports.

Toto had its greatest commercial success in the 1980s. The band has released 17 albums and sold about 30 million records to date.

The band’s current members are Bobby Kimball, Steve Lukather, David Paich, Greg Phillinganes, Simon Phillips and Mike Porcaro.
