The Taste of Iceland festival is set to take place in Toronto, Canada this week.

Canada AM, the largest morning program in the country, recently interviewed Chef Hákon Már Örvarsson about the event, where he shared some simple Icelandic recipes such as pickled herring on rye bread and langoustine with garlic butter.
The festival consists of a variety of public events, including culinary promotions, free live musical performances (including by Sóley and Ásgeir Trausti), an Icelandic art show and a free film festival.
The festival runs from March 21-24.
