The two top teams in women’s basketball in Iceland, Haukur from Hafnarfjörður and Snæfell from Styykishólmur on Snæfellsnes peninsula, will play in Hafnarfjörður at 7:15 pm tonight.
Both teams, which have won six of their seven games this season, have 12 points. They top the league along with Keflavík.
Valur from Reykjavík currently has eight points, Grindavík six, while three teams are scraping the bottom with only one win in seven games: Breiðablik from Kópavogur, KR from the western part of Reykjavík, and Hamar from Hveragerði, South Iceland.
Snæfell are last year’s champions.
