Top 10 News Stories of 2013

It’s time for our annual list of the top stories of the year on Iceland Review Online.

Five of the top ten stories of 2013 were about the Icelandic-connection to the WikiLeaks case while the story about the Icelandic girl, Blær Bjarkardóttir, who took her fight to keep her name to the Icelandic courts and the story about the tourists who dined on an iceberg (which later drifted from shore, leaving them stranded) in a glacial lagoon just west of Jökulsárlón, were also popular having been picked up by the international media.
