Today is Easter Monday

By Iceland Review

Easter Monday is a public holiday and the last day of Easter celebrations in Iceland. It is known as annar í páskum (‘the second day of Easter’) in Icelandic.

Some Christians may go to church, but most people spend time with their families. All kinds of outdoor activities are popular, especially skiing, if there is still snow in the mountains.

People usually relax on Easter Monday, eat leftovers from the previous day, and recharge their batteries for the following work and school day.
