An additional three people have been arrested in Norway in connection with the extensive drug smuggling operation in which 11 individuals were arrested in September. The case is reportedly one of the most extensive drug cases the Icelandic police have ever worked on.

One of the individuals arrested this week is said to be an Icelander who lives in Stavanger, Norway, and is accused of being in possession of several kilograms of amphetamines, visir.is reports.
Eleven people, including seven Icelanders, were arrested in September. They are suspected of having planned to smuggle 34 kilograms of amphetamines.
The Icelandic police have reportedly been monitoring the group’s operations for years.
