Thirty Kilos of Amphetamine Seized in 2013

The Icelandic Customs Office stopped 30 kilograms of pure amphetamine upon entering the country last year. Nineteen and a half kilos were seized via the postal system and the remaining 10.5 kilograms at Keflavík International Airport, visir.is reports.

Thirty kilograms of pure amphetamine is enough to make 107 kilos for sale on the street.

Customs also seized 2.7 liters of amphetamine base, which is enough to make 28 kilograms for sale on the street.
