Matthew Perpetua of BuzzFeed has collected 18 quotes from Icelandic musician Björk, whose new hit album Vulnicura was released this week.
Björk comments on friendship, the environment and music, among other things. A few of them are very Björkish, like number five about how “very, very sexy” it can be to drive a car.
Here are a couple of her quotes:
“People shouldn’t be so snobby. To say that Beethoven is great, but 2 Unlimited is crap, it’s rubbish. It’s like saying filet mignon is brilliant food, but bananas are stupid to eat! It’s not. You need all the different things.”
“It’s invisible, what women do. It’s not rewarded as much.”
