About 43% of those participants choosing to respond in newspaper Fréttabladid’s poll support the current administration of The Social Democratic Alliance and the Left Green Movement, mbl.is reports. A total of 57% said that they did not support the government.

Among the supporters of the two parties, government support was decisive. Only 5% of Left Green Movement supporters do not support the government and 8% of Social Democratic Alliance supporters.
The difference between the sexes was minute, but women appear to be more pleased with the government than men. A total of 45% of the women said that they supported the government but 41% of the men.
800 people were contacted last night. The question they were asked was “Do you support the present government?” 87% chose to answer the question.
