Temperature Rises to 28°C in East Iceland

The temperature rose to 28°C in the East Fjords and 24°C in Húsavík in Northeast Iceland yesterday.

According to Gils Harðarson, chef at Hotel Edda in Neskaupstaður, East Iceland, hotel guests from Spain turned the fan on to try to cool down after complaining about the heat yesterday morning, Morgunblaðið reports.

The forecast for East Iceland tomorrow is for continued warm weather, 24°C.
