Swiss professional photographer Patrice Schreyer is currently on a two-and-a-half month private photographic journey across Iceland and has decided to share his experiences with Iceland fans around the world with an online Photoblog.
End of life, Midfjördur.
“I would like to have a leitmotif to put every day a picture on the web,” Schreyer told icelandreview.com. “These pictures won’t be specific representations of Iceland for tourist offices, but more like snapshots of my feelings towards your country.”
Schreyer explained that after visiting Iceland five times from 1998 to 2007, he wanted to return for a longer stay and use the internet as a medium to display his art. In winter 2007, he attempted to cross Sprengisandur desert in the central highlands with skis and a pulka sled.
