Swiss family-run contracting company Marti Holding AG has taken over the Icelandic contractor Íslenskir adalverktakar (ÍAV), thus securing approximately 400 jobs.

Marti Holding operates more than 60 contracting companies in Europe. It has worked with ÍAV for many years on tunnel making and is ÍAV’s partner in the construction of a tunnel and avalanche revetment in Bolungarvík.
