Support for Icelandic Króna Split Fifty-Fifty

50.3 percent of Icelanders would like to keep the Icelandic króna as the country’s future currency compared to 49.7 percent who would like to adopt a different currency, according to the latest poll conducted for daily Fréttablaðið and television station Stöð 2.

Support for the Icelandic króna is above 50 percent only among supporters of the Independence Party, the party of Finance Minister Bjarni Benediktsson, ruv.is reports.
