Support for Iceland’s center-right government is at 46 percent, its lowest yet, according to the latest Gallup poll. Roughly 50 percent of the population supported the government one month ago and 62 percent when it was formed six months ago.

Support for Prime Minster Sigmundur Davíð Gunnlaugsson’s Progressive Party is 14 percent, down 10 percent from the election, whereas support for the other coalition party, the Independence Party, is stable with 27 percent, similar to the party’s support rating at the election, ruv.is reports.
Support for Bright Future and the Pirate Party, 10 and 8 percent respectively, has grown since the elections.
The Social Democratic Alliance hold 18 percent support, up 2 percentage points from last month and 5 percent from the last election. The Left-Greens are down one percent to 14 percent.
Twenty percent of respondents said they did not have an opinion, chose not to reveal it or said they would not vote in an election if it were held today. A total of 5,600 people were polled with a response rate of 60 percent.
