Last night, Keflavík based rescue team Suðurnes was called out to help a stuck bus, mbl.is reports.

The bus was stuck in snow, close to the Reykjanes lighthouse, located at the edge of the peninsula bearing the same name. The bus contained approximately twenty tourists, exploring the Northern Lights, for which the conditions could not have been better, cold, with clear skies, and the dancing Northern Lights high above.
The rescue team used two trucks to tow the bus back on the road. Road conditions at Iceland’s Southwest corner have seldom been more difficult, with record amounts of snow covering the ground.
