The Icelandic Krona is in fourth place amongst currencies that have the largest gain against the US dollar, according to the Economist.

The top three currencies with the largest gain against the dollar since January 2004 are from Poland, Columbia and South Korea.

The Krona has gained 12 per cent against the dollar since January of 2004, compared to the Euro, which has only increased by 2 per cent.
