All Air Iceland domestic flights have been canceled this afternoon, due to bad weather. For information on other airlines, please call them directly.
The Road and Coastal Administration has closed roads in South Iceland all the way from Hvolsvöllur to Breiðamerkursandur in the southeast (see map). Several mountain passes in the southwest have been closed as well (see map).
The snowboarding party, scheduled for tonight at the Winter Lights Festival on Arnarhóll, has been postponed until tomorrow. The opening ceremony, though, is still scheduled for tonight.
