The Icelandic Meteorological Office has issued a storm warning for west Iceland this afternoon; it currently seems to have hit Reykjavík at full force.

The storm is forecast to move from the southwest to the northwestern part of the country late tonight and tomorrow morning, ruv.is reports.
Last night it blew across south and southwest Iceland. Yesterday evening, people living in those regions were asked to secure loose objects. This morning the police hadn’t received any reports of damages.
After a few sunny and fairly warm days earlier this month, autumn appears to have arrived in Iceland with rainy and now windy weather conditions.
