Stígamót Education and Counseling Center for Survivors of Sexual Abuse and Violence has invited the mayor of Reykjavík, police, ministers and MPs to the opening of a ‘champagne club’ at their office on Hverfisgata on Thursday, ruv.is reports.

Two new champagne clubs recently opened in Reykjavík, taking the number of such bars in Iceland’s capital to three.
An undercover journalist working for Fréttablaðið reported that he was invited to go to the back area of one of the clubs, and was told he could “do what he wanted” for ISK 20,000 (USD 165, EUR 126).
Staff at Stígamót will offer guests a ten minute private show for ISK 20,000 with free champagne.
“Dashing women will offer conversation, song, as well as dance, in Icelandic, English and in the Nordic languages. Some of the women are registered in the Miss Iceland 2013 competition … Anna Bentína offers a personal and entertaining chat about rape,” a statement from the center reads in part.
Spokesperson Guðrún Jónsdóttir has offered to dance if anyone is interested, mbl.is reports.
