Steve Forbes: Adapt the Euro

Editor of business magazine Forbes and president and chief executive of Forbes Inc. Steve Forbes recommends Iceland get rid of its Krona currency and adapt to the Euro.

Forbes, who was a candidate in the US presidential primaries in 1996 and 2000, criticized the Icelandic economy in an interview with Fréttabladid yesterday.

Forbes said due to inflation and high interest rates, Iceland should rid itself of the Krona and adapt the Euro or the Dollar instead, as those currencies are more stable.

Forbes said he is looking forward to visiting Iceland, which is his opinion, can pride itself of a vast economic growth despite the inflation.
