NASA astronauts, including Neil Armstrong, visited Iceland in 1965-67 as part of their training for their mission to the moon. The astronauts studied geology during their time in the country.

Örlygur, who has collected some of the items which the astronauts used during their trip to Iceland, says he believes there is potential for space exploration-related tours in the area, visir.is reports.
