Starved Dog Rescued from a Locked Garage

By Iceland Review

The police in Reykjanesbaer in southwest Iceland rescued a dog that had been locked in a garage without food or water. People living near the garage called the police after having heard barking and howling coming from it.

Inside, police officers found a dog of the Rottweiler breed in dire condition. It had apparently been locked inside the cold, dark garage without food or water for days.

According to local news web, the owner of the building moved away from the town some time ago and will most likely be charged for maltreating the animal.
