The new Star Wars film will be partly filmed in Iceland, visir.is reports. The crew is expected to arrive in the country at the end of April.
Members of the film crew have been in Iceland scouting for locations, according to Vísir’s sources. Icelandic film production and service company True North would not reveal any details about the film, as they are bound to secrecy.
According to Vísir’s sources, the shots filmed in Iceland may be used as background but nothing has as yet been confirmed.
